hi and hello
waited until after the weekend to see man of steel, it seems like everyone else did too as the theater was almost filled and i ended up sitting in the closer rows. it did not make the
movie better or worse, the movie just about did that by itself. i have seen every other superman movie and i think this one was the least satisfying. there were many things that did not work for me, i waited throughout the movie to find out how superman shaved as it starts with a bearded clark kent, i did not
like how lois lane /amy adams so easily tracks down clark kent/superman too. nope. so i discovered that kal-el was a natural birth and that he is the holder of all krypton [confusing] inside of him. wow. when i first saw the transformers movie i had trouble figuring out the fights and man was just about the same. the slamming through buildings were just blurrs most
of the time. my guess is that billions worth of destruction occurred due to the zod/kal-el/superman/clark kent fight. oh well. there were pieces in the movie i liked but i did not like the movie. the movie starts on krypton, gives us the chance to see general zod, a real bad ass. jor-el sends little kal into space and we miss the growing up years, just see clark saving pete ross [a future ihop employee of the month] saving people on drilling platform but unable to keep pa kent alive. have no idea if he graduated smallville high or kansas state university, hmmm. super reporter lois lane [hah] tracks him down as does general zod, [you'd think the kryptonians could make a better phantom zone] so that just leaves the fights where they mess up smallville and then move on to metropolis to semi destroy it. only because jor-el [killed by zod 33 years earlier] tells lois how to stop zod are the kryptonians defeated. so sups and zod get a one on one fight which must last 15 minutes and its only after sups primal screams and kills zod [did sups ever knowingly kill anyone in the other movies?]. so of course it ends okay with clark getting hired at the daily planet by perry white [maybe because he was a real fast typist] so he can be near his lois as they await the next movie. man of steel has its moments, just none that took me somewhere that i wanted to get to. nope. signed: meken47.
